A law firm located in Pasadena, CA, is seeking an enthusiastic Education Law Associate Attorney with a strong interest in public agency and education law. The ideal candidate will have exceptional research and writing skills, excellent presentation abilities, and a strong academic background. Candidates must be admitted to the California State Bar in good standing.

Duties:

• Represent public agencies, school districts, and educational institutions in legal matters related to education law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and agreements relevant to educational administration and operations.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal memoranda, briefs, and opinions.
• Provide advice on compliance with federal and state education laws, regulations, and policies.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution processes.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of educational policies and procedures.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on legal issues and developments in education law to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on complex legal matters and case strategies.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience in education law or a related field.
• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
• Demonstrated interest in public agency and education law.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.

Skills:
