Duties

  • Handle all aspects of litigation from initial case assessment through resolution.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in court and at depositions, effectively advocating on their behalf.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for complex legal issues.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Manage case files and ensure compliance with legal procedures and timelines.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • 2-3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in construction or insurance defense.
  • Active membership in the Florida Bar is required.
  • Experience with legal research tools, such as Westlaw.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.

Certifications

  • Valid Florida Bar license.
