A well-established law firm is seeking a seasoned Trusts & Estates Attorney for its Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience in estate planning, estate administration, and Orphans' Court litigation. Duties

  • Draft wills, trusts, and related estate planning documents
  • Handle estate administration matters, including probate and trust administration
  • Litigate cases in Orphans' Court, including will contests, guardianships, and other fiduciary matters
  • Provide counsel on complex estate planning strategies and tax matters
  • Maintain and grow a portable book of business

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years of experience in estate planning, estate administration, and Orphans' Court litigation
  • Proven track record in managing trust and estate matters independently
  • Ability to provide high-level client service and manage client relationships

Education

  • Law degree (JD) from an accredited institution

Certifications

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is required

Skills

  • Strong drafting skills, particularly in wills, trusts, and estate planning documents
  • Excellent litigation skills, with specific experience in Orphans' Court
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex legal matters to clients
  • Strong client management and business development skills
