The ideal candidate will possess a substantial portable and consistent book of business exceeding $600,000 and expertise in handling a broad spectrum of life science intellectual property matters, including prosecution, transactional, and litigation activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage life science intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, IP transactions, and litigation.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, leveraging a substantial business book.
- Provide strategic legal advice on complex IP issues related to life sciences, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical devices.
- Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing and collaboration agreements.
- Oversee and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff within the firm.
- Stay current with industry trends, legal developments, and technological advancements in the life sciences sector.
- Represent clients in negotiations, arbitrations, and court proceedings as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute IP strategies aligned with client’s business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:

Education:
