Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on real estate and construction law topics.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other real estate documents.
  • Assist with case management and preparation for real estate and construction litigation.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitration hearings.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on real estate and construction matters.
  • Review and analyze legal documents and agreements related to real estate transactions and construction projects.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and transactions.
  • Stay updated on changes in real estate and construction laws and regulations.
  • Perform transactional work such as drafting purchase agreements, closing documents, and other related transactional documents.
  • Manage case files and ensure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to or pending admission to the Colorado State Bar.
  • Knowledge of court rules and procedures.
  • Willingness to perform both transactional work and litigation.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal administrative tasks, such as document management and case organization.
  • Experience with legal drafting, including writing pleadings, motions, and contracts.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to or pending admission to the Colorado State Bar.
