A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience to join its team in London, Kentucky. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment, handling a variety of litigation matters. The successful candidate will possess strong writing and communication skills and be ready to contribute to the firm's litigation practice.

Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice as needed.
• Participate in mediation, negotiation, and settlement discussions to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Kentucky.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of litigation experience.
• Excellent legal writing and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 10-25% for court appearances and client meetings.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in the state of Kentucky.
