The ideal candidate will have substantial litigation experience, particularly in personal injury cases, and a proven ability to advocate for clients effectively. The role involves managing complex cases, preparing for trial, and ensuring exceptional client service throughout the litigation process.

Duties:

  • Meet with clients to discuss their cases, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and the ability to build trust and confidence.
  • Provide clients with regular updates on case status and communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and offers.
  • Evaluate claims to determine their strength and potential for successful resolution.
  • Prepare cases for trial, including gathering evidence, drafting legal documents, and formulating strategies.
  • Represent clients in court as needed, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and other parties effectively.
  • Mentor and guide junior attorneys and support staff as required.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of litigation experience, with significant experience in personal injury cases.
  • 7-10 personal injury trials as first chair preferred.
  • Member of the Georgia Bar in good standing.
  • Strong understanding of claim evaluation and personal injury litigation processes.
  • Superb negotiation skills and proven track record of successful settlements and trial outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership with the Georgia Bar Association.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to advocate for clients and manage complex litigation cases.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
