A law firm in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have substantial litigation experience, particularly in personal injury cases, and a proven ability to advocate for clients effectively. The role involves managing complex cases, preparing for trial, and ensuring exceptional client service throughout the litigation process.

Duties:

• Meet with clients to discuss their cases, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and the ability to build trust and confidence.
• Provide clients with regular updates on case status and communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and offers.
• Evaluate claims to determine their strength and potential for successful resolution.
• Prepare cases for trial, including gathering evidence, drafting legal documents, and formulating strategies.
• Represent clients in court as needed, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and other parties effectively.
• Mentor and guide junior attorneys and support staff as required.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of litigation experience, with significant experience in personal injury cases.
• 7-10 personal injury trials as first chair preferred.
• Member of the Georgia Bar in good standing.
• Strong understanding of claim evaluation and personal injury litigation processes.
• Superb negotiation skills and proven track record of successful settlements and trial outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Georgia Bar Association.

Skills:

• Proven ability to advocate for clients and manage complex litigation cases.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to mentor and lead junior attorneys and support staff.
