Duties:

  • Represent clients in complex environmental litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel and representation in pre-litigation matters, regulatory compliance, and enforcement proceedings.
  • Assist with environmental aspects of real estate transactions and due diligence.
  • Analyze statutes, regulations, and case law regarding environmental issues, including soil and groundwater contamination, water quality, air quality, and climate change.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and successful outcomes.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with team members on case strategy and legal solutions.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of relevant legal experience in environmental law, preferably with exposure to litigation.
  • Strong interest in environmental issues and a commitment to environmental advocacy.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and deliver results in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills:
