A law firm in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a skilled 1st Party Property Damage Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will handle client updates, communicate with insurance companies, and participate in various legal proceedings such as hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations. Duties:

• Provide clients with updates on the status of their claims
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and offers
• Evaluate claims and develop case strategies
• Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel
• Conduct legal research and stay current with changes in property damage law
• Maintain organized case files and documentation
• Collaborate with staff and other attorneys to advance client cases
• Represent clients in court and advocate on their behalf

Requirements:

• Member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
• 2+ years of litigation experience; First Party Property Damage experience is a plus
• Experience in evaluating claims and developing case strategies
• Superb negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively
