Duties

  • Represent clients in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity transactions within the healthcare industry.
  • Provide regulatory counsel on issues such as fraud and abuse, corporate practice of medicine, fee-splitting, value-based care, antitrust, and state licensure.
  • Draft and negotiate industry-related agreements, including governance and operational contracts.
  • Advise on compliance with state and federal health care regulations.
  • Support clients in structuring transactions and addressing regulatory complexities in various deal structures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on cutting-edge healthcare projects.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in healthcare transactional matters, including mergers, private equity, and joint ventures.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks, including state and federal rules.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction of practice.
