Job Overview: A reputable law firm based in Mount Pleasant, SC, is seeking a dedicated Real Estate Closing Attorney to join its established team. The role involves overseeing real estate transactions, engaging with clients, and fostering relationships to support the firm's growth.

Duties:

• Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances
• Conduct thorough title reviews and address any related issues
• Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to ensure smooth transaction processes
• Draft and review essential real estate documents, such as contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase agreements
• Provide clients with a professional experience, addressing inquiries and concerns effectively
• Review and approve disbursement ledgers and sign checks
• Build and maintain professional relationships to enhance the firm’s network and reputation
• Deliver training sessions on real estate law to potential clients

Requirements:

• Experience in residential real estate transactions preferred
• Active member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a team
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to community engagement and business development
• Commitment to continuous growth and a residential real estate focus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the South Carolina State Bar
