Key Responsibilities: - Negotiate and draft license agreements for the distribution of DTC services, linear television channels, and FAST channels on various platforms. - Review and evaluate existing license agreements to ensure compliance and advise on contractual issues. - Stay informed of the latest developments in the law and technology related to media content distribution. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on topics such as ad sales, product, technology, and litigation. - Research legal questions and effectively communicate responses to all levels of the company. - Build strong relationships with internal clients and provide practical and strategic advice. - Problem solve in a business-friendly and creative manner. Qualifications: - 4-7 years of experience practicing law with a national law firm or corporate legal department. - JD from an accredited law school required. - Admission to Georgia or New York State Bar in good standing or willingness and qualification to be Registered In-House Counsel. - Experience with content distribution and licensing preferred. - Strong legal transactional skills and experience negotiating, drafting, analyzing, and interpreting contracts.
