A law firm located in Nashville, TN, is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy/Restructuring Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of complex Chapter 11 case experience. The ideal candidate should possess a strong academic record, exceptional written and oral communication skills, and prior representation of various stakeholders in bankruptcy proceedings. Additional experience in handling complex workouts and restructurings, particularly in the automotive and mobility industry, would be beneficial.

Job Duties:

• Represent clients in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, including debtors, secured creditors, official committees, and unsecured creditors.
• Manage negotiations, settlements, and litigation related to bankruptcy proceedings.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Provide strategic guidance and legal counsel to clients throughout the bankruptcy process.
• Collaborate effectively with other attorneys and professionals on case matters.
• Utilize expertise in handling complex workouts and restructurings, with a focus on the automotive and mobility industry when applicable.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in Tennessee.
• 3-5 years of experience in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
• Prior representation of debtors, secured creditors, official committees, and unsecured creditors.
• Strong academic record.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Certifications:

Admission to the Tennessee State Bar.
