Location: West Jordan, UT
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft motions, briefs, memoranda, correspondence, and related legal documents.
- Identify, analyze, and address legal issues in assigned cases and legal proceedings.
- Manage and monitor cases from inception to final resolution.
- Provide counsel to clients on relevant legal matters.
- Stay updated on applicable state and federal laws, particularly in family law, real estate, estate planning, and civil litigation.
- Work under the guidance of supervising attorneys and/or the office manager.
- Supervise and coordinate work with paralegals and other support staff as required.
- Maintain a monthly billable hour target of 125 hours.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree with strong academic performance.
- Active Utah State Bar license in good standing.
- Preference for additional state bar licenses (though not mandatory).
- Proficiency in multitasking, prioritizing workload, and thriving under pressure.
- Strong writing skills and excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated court advocacy skills and oral presentation strengths.
- Typing proficiency at 45+ words per minute.
- Capability to independently research and draft legal pleadings and documents.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree with notable academic credentials.
Certifications:
- Active Utah State Bar license required.
- Additional language proficiency in Spanish (preferred but not required).
Skills:
