The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and prosecuting patent applications, utilizing their expertise in computer-aided drafting/modeling programs, and conducting patent searches and analyses.
Duties:
- Draft and prosecute patent applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize computer-aided drafting/modeling programs for effective patent documentation.
- Conduct patent searches, patentability analyses, clearance analyses, and patent landscape analyses.
- Demonstrate a curiosity to learn technologies outside the field of study.
- Apply strong oral and written communication skills in interacting with clients, colleagues, and authorities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments related to patent law.
- Collaborate with legal teams to provide technical expertise and support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field.
- Completion of several electrical engineering courses.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications (preferred).
- Experience with computer-aided drafting/modeling programs (preferred).
- Knowledge and experience in patent searching, patentability analysis, clearance analysis, and patent landscape analysis (preferred).
- Curiosity and willingness to learn technologies outside the field of study (preferred).
- Work experience in the electrical engineering field (preferred).
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field.
Certifications:
