Beverly Hills office of our client seeks an associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience in the music business, experience with music contractual matters and copyright/intellectual property registrations, and understand copyright law and the customs and practices of the music business. The candidate will be drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating music industry agreements. Doing document preparation and Legal and Copyright Research (mostly Internet-based). Preparing copyright, trademark, and other registration applications. Communicating with clients and opposing counsel. Assisting with preparation, management, and administration of client and catalogue data. Other duties as assigned. Be a CA licensed attorney.
