Job Overview:
A personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in employment law and will be responsible for managing cases from filing through trial, including settlement negotiations, depositions, court appearances, motion practice, and trial proceedings. This role offers access to paralegal and secretarial support to allow the attorney to focus on strategy and litigation in a fast-paced, supportive work environment.

Duties:

• Manage cases from filing through trial, including settlement negotiations, depositions, court appearances, and trial proceedings.
• Handle motion practice and other legal proceedings.
• Provide legal strategy and litigation support.
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal staff for case preparation.
• Participate in settlement discussions and negotiations.
• Maintain an efficient caseload and ensure cases progress through legal processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience in employment law.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong multitasking and critical thinking skills.
• Superior analytical and legal research skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and social skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Current good standing with the California State Bar.
