This role involves utilizing the Firm’s case management and reporting software to handle assigned matters effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of consumer credit collections, state laws, and the FDCPA, with a commitment to exceptional client care and proactive communication. The position requires some travel and court appearances, and multi-state licensure is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Actively manage assigned matters using the Firm’s case management and reporting software.
• Represent clients in court, which may require travel to various jurisdictions.
• Apply a working knowledge of consumer credit collections, state laws in the licensed jurisdiction regarding consumer collections, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Provide superior client care through proactive communication and case management.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments within the firm.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and ethical practice.

Requirements

• Must be a member in good standing of the Alabama State Bar.
• Demonstrated knowledge of consumer credit collections and related state laws.
• Proven ability to handle court appearances and manage a caseload effectively.
• Commitment to proactive client communication and superior client service.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Alabama State Bar (required).
• Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred.

Skills
