Job Overview:
A top law firm is seeking an experienced Biotechnology Patent Prosecution Associate to join its team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in biotechnology patent prosecution and a . in biology, molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Location:

Duties:

  • Manage and prosecute biotechnology patent applications
  • Draft and file patent applications, including responses to office actions
  • Provide patentability, infringement, and validity analyses
  • Collaborate with inventors and clients to develop intellectual property strategies
  • Advise clients on patent portfolio management and related matters
  • Participate in client meetings and provide technical support for patent-related matters
  • Handle complex biotechnology patent issues in a dynamic legal environment

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in biotechnology patent prosecution
  • . in biology, molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Client-facing experience, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships

Education:
