A law firm in Dallas is seeking a highly qualified Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm's restructuring/reorganization practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and a desire to work both independently and as part of a team. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in representing debtors in Chapter 11 cases.


Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in restructuring and reorganization matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to chapter 11 cases.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on bankruptcy laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop effective legal strategies.
  • Represent debtors in chapter 11 cases, if applicable.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve client objectives.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm's restructuring/reorganization practice.
  • Excellent academic credentials with a law degree from an accredited institution.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Desire to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

 

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of restructuring and reorganization practices.
  • Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
