A law firm is seeking a motivated Mid-to-Senior Level Corporate Healthcare Transactional Associate Attorney to join its team in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of attorneys to provide strategic legal guidance to healthcare clients across a range of corporate and transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate transactions with a focus on the healthcare sector.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to provide clients with critical guidance on achieving business goals.
  • Advise innovative healthcare clients on all phases of transactional businesses, focusing on strategic transactions such as:
    • Mergers and acquisitions
    • Asset and equity acquisition transactions
    • Venture capital and private equity investments
    • Joint venture transactions
  • Assist clients with corporate and organizational workflow, including:
    • Corporate formations and restructuring
    • Capital raises and financing
    • Operational strategies
    • Contract negotiations
    • Other day-to-day corporate matters
  • Manage complex legal transactions from inception to completion.
  • Communicate directly with clients, third-party advisors, and team members to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Provide legal and strategic advice regarding healthcare regulations, compliance, and corporate governance.

Job Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, with a focus on healthcare.
  • Expertise in advising healthcare organizations on corporate transactions.
  • Experience working with venture capital and private equity firms in healthcare-related investments.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance issues.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently while collaborating with a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California Bar is required.

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
