Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide legal advice.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Collaborate with expert witnesses to develop case strategies and strengthen arguments.
  • Assist in fact development and conduct depositions to gather critical information.
  • Review and draft discovery responses, legal briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Help formulate comprehensive case strategies to advance client interests.
  • Maintain an organized approach to managing case files and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • A strong academic background, with a JD from a nationally recognized institution.
  • Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
  • A relevant science degree (MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology) is required.
  • Experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation, particularly within the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized institutions.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organization.
  • Good business judgment and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
