Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their dynamic team, providing exceptional legal services in the field of family law. Duties:

  • Handle a full caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and more.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
  • Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates, manage expectations, and guide them through their legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies and ensure the efficient handling of cases.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to maintain legal expertise.
  • Engage in networking and community involvement, including pro bono work and business development.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in family law (required).
  • Active Colorado Bar License (or pending).
  • Ability to handle primary litigation duties in family law cases.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a legal team.
  • Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to engage in regular networking and community service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado.

Certifications:

  • Active Colorado Bar membership (required).

  • Superior legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Confidence in courtroom settings and client advocacy.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and offer creative solutions to legal issues.
