Senior Leasing Attorney

Job Overview
A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to lead the commercial leasing practice within its Real Estate Group. This position is designed for candidates with at least eight years of relevant experience, offering the opportunity to engage in significant transactions while collaborating with a talented team.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate commercial leases and related agreements, including term sheets and letters of intent.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys in the leasing team.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver timely, high-quality work product while managing multiple tasks.
• Foster positive relationships within the team and with clients.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in various work-related activities, including virtual meetings and extended computer use.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial leasing.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate various lease-related agreements.
• Admission to practice in Texas.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

• Strong understanding of the commercial leasing landscape.
• Experience with multiple property types (office, retail, industrial).
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to quickly grasp client objectives and deliver results.
