A law firm seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Consumer Debt Resolution Attorney to join its fully remote team in Ohio. This position provides an excellent opportunity for legal professionals passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of debt resolution.

Duties

  • Manage debt resolution files and provide legal assistance to clients as necessary.
  • Conduct a high volume of telephone consultations to guide clients through the debt resolution process.
  • Oversee settlement negotiations and conduct file reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and approve legal documents prepared by paralegals.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients to foster understanding and trust.
  • Utilize basic software and technology for efficient case management.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the Ohio Bar Association.
  • Preferred experience in consumer debt defense and/or collections.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Valid license to practice law in the state of Ohio.

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of client interactions with patience and engagement.
  • Proficiency in using computers and basic software applications.
