Responsibilities: - Define and develop Palantir's positions on data protection agreements, impact assessments, and incidents under US Federal and State Privacy Laws. - Assist in drafting and negotiating customer data protection-related documentation. - Develop privacy program standards, policies, and playbooks in line with regulatory guidance and best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate deals and product development. - Have a strong understanding of GDPR and other worldwide data protection laws. - Review AI use cases and assist in developing AI governance policies from a data protection perspective. Qualifications: - Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one US State. - 3-6 years of experience in US Privacy Laws practice, with a focus on the software industry and AI technologies. - Fluent in spoken and written English. Preferred Qualifications: - In-house legal experience. - Technical background. Salary Information: - Estimated salary range of $135,000 - $200,000/year. - Total compensation may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives. - Total compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and other factors.
