Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal guidance on compliance issues, regulatory requirements, and environmental policies.

  • Stay updated on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law to provide accurate legal advice and representation.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in environmental and natural resources law.
  • Demonstrated expertise in statutes, regulations, and common law issues related to soil and groundwater contamination, water quality, air quality, and climate change.
  • Membership in the California State Bar is required.
  • A California State Bar license is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
