Job Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide legal advice and updates on case progress.
  • Conducted and defended depositions to gather critical information for case development.
  • Perform comprehensive legal research and draft necessary legal documents, including motions and pleadings.
  • Lead mediations to negotiate favorable settlements for clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic case plans to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Represent clients in court, including taking cases to trial and discussing verdicts.
  • Draft and respond to motions in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing personal injury law.
  • Proven trial experience with the ability to discuss past verdicts.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia State Bar.
  • Substantial knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Georgia State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia and good standing.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
