Duties:

  • Advise clients on legal aspects of EPC projects, including project finance, risk management, and contract negotiations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate EPC contracts, subcontracts, and related agreements.
  • Provide legal guidance on project development, procurement strategies, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address legal issues and ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct legal research and stay current with industry trends and changes in relevant laws and regulations.
  • Represent clients in disputes and handle litigation or arbitration related to EPC projects.
  • Develop and deliver training and seminars on legal issues related to EPC projects for clients and internal teams.
  • Monitor and manage legal risks associated with project development and finance.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • Extensive experience in advising and negotiating EPC contracts and agreements.
  • Proven track record in project development and finance within the EPC sector.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
