This full-time, on-site role focuses on insurance defense, particularly in no-fault insurance matters. Duties:

  • Represent clients in insurance defense matters, specifically no-fault claims.
  • Take depositions and attend court appearances.
  • Draft and file legal briefs, motions, and other documents.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop defense strategies.
  • Ensure all cases are handled in a timely and organized manner.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases.
  • Ability to handle depositions and court appearances with confidence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Michigan.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of no-fault insurance law is preferred (first and third-party).
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to handle complex litigation matters with professionalism.
