Job Description: - The Associate will support the M&A and Energy Transactional practice at McGuireWoods. - The candidate may work in one of the firm's offices in Houston, Baltimore, or Richmond. Job Requirements: - Qualified candidates should have 3-6 years of experience in corporate transactions, preferably in a national law firm. - Experience in the energy industry, including power, renewable energy, and oil and gas, is preferred. - Familiarity with project finance, infrastructure development, construction contracts, and tax equity transactions is helpful but not required. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to interact with legal and business teams. - Must have a strong academic record and excellent writing and drafting skills. - Licensed to practice in Maryland is preferred but not required.
