The Law Firm of DLA Piper is seeking a Senior Leasing Attorney with a minimum of eight years’ experience handling commercial leases to join our Real Estate Group. This position is open to our Atlanta, Boston, California, Chicago, Miami, New York, Reston, Texas and Washington, DC offices. Job Title: Senior Leasing Attorney Experience: Minimum 8 years Salary: $250,000 to $375,000 per year Responsibilities: - Drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements - Supervising the work of less experienced leasing attorneys - Interacting with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, and other relevant parties Education: JD Bar Admission: Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application Desired Skills: - Understanding of the commercial leasing market - Experience with leases for multiple property types - Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently - Strong analytical and writing skills - Attention to detail and good business judgment Job Expectations: - Effective communication with clients, colleagues, and third parties - Timely and quality work product - Meeting deadlines and expectations - Positive work relationships and adherence to firm policies - Ability to engage in both physical and sedentary activity Physical Demands: Sedentary work, primarily sitting at a computer Work Environment: Hybrid with some in-office expectations, potential to become fully remote Application Process: Please apply online, direct applicants only Search Firms: All candidates must be submitted through the firm’s agency portal for consideration Pay Transparency: Expected hiring range of $250,000 to $375,000 per year, dependent on candidate qualifications and location DLA Piper is an equal opportunity employer, considering all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
