all calls to legal aid’s 212-577-3300 main phone number are received and processed by the paralegal 1- switchboard. essential duties/responsibilities answers all phone calls coming through our avaya or current active switchboard system develops and routinely updates answering scripts and return call/ text scripts for the switchboard researches and directs callers to the best internal or external resources to meet their needs follows up on missed calls and voicemails reviews and tracks call data to inform decision makers about call routing and scripts to improve switchboard efficiency and support uses our lawmanager system to identify the case handler and other key details for a client caller manages the las main reception area as required collaborates with other practices areas to ensure quality client representation and successful switchboard operations other duties as assigned qualifications associates degree or high school/ technical/ vocational diploma experience managing a switchboard is preferred salary and benefits the salary range represents a good faith estimate of the range we expect to pay for this role.
