A law firm in Austin is seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Creditor's Rights Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in consumer credit collections, state laws governing collections, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). They must be proactive in client communication, possess excellent written and verbal skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Duties:
• Utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software for managing assigned matters.
• Appear in court as required, with occasional travel.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of consumer credit collections.
• Stay updated on state laws regarding consumer collections in the licensed jurisdiction.
• Adhere to the guidelines of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Ensure superior client care through proactive communication.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.

Requirements:
• Should have 3 years of experience
• Must be a member in good standing of the State Bar.
• Strong preference for multi-state licensure.
• Commitment to exceptional client care.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Certifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Membership in good standing with the State Bar Association.

Skills:
• Proficiency in utilizing case management and reporting software.
• In-depth understanding of consumer credit collections.
• Knowledge of state laws pertaining to collections.
• Familiarity with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
