Responsibilities - Temporary, part-time position from January to April 2025. - Seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years' professional tax preparation experience. - Prepare tax returns and provide customer support and advice through video, phone, and chat using designated software. - Ensure excellent customer experience by utilizing tax preparation expertise, technology troubleshooting skills, and resolving tax issues. - Friendly, reassuring, and passionate about customer service. - Excellent communicator with the ability to translate complex tax terminology into easily understandable language. - Experience with tax preparation technology and research tools. Qualifications - Minimum of 2 seasons of professional tax preparation experience with a minimum of 30 returns prepared. - Prior experience in a tax practice or retail setting. - PTIN required and EA, CPA, or JD credentials preferred. - College degree a plus. - Knowledge of tax laws, concepts, and familiarity with form 1040 and schedules. - Willingness to utilize audio/visual tools for customer communication. - Strong problem-solving and research skills. Additional Information - Compensation range of $25 to $30, influenced by skills, experience, qualifications, and location. - Eligible for short-term incentives or sales compensation. - Director and VP positions also eligible for long-term incentives. - Bonus structure details available upon request.
