The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in family law litigation, with a strong background in handling cases related to divorce, child custody, child support, and related family law matters. Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct initial client consultations and meetings.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and court orders for family law cases.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies tailored to client’s needs and objectives.
• Represent clients in family law proceedings such as trials, hearings, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlement agreements and tactfully resolve disputes.
• Apply relevant Georgia state law, court rules, and evidence procedures.
• Manage a caseload from case initiation through to resolution.
• Collaborate with support staff and guide case-related tasks.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in family law litigation.
• Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to family law matters.
• Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Experience in managing cases independently and handling client relationships.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications and Licenses

• Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia (GA Bar License required).
