This position involves managing debt recovery litigation and representing clients regionally. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, comfort with civil litigation procedures, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with various legal professionals.

Duties:

• Negotiate settlements for pending litigation cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and discovery.
• Engage in motion practice and handle court appearances.
• Execute legal documents and manage litigation calendars.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with staff, opposing counsel, and courts to ensure smooth case progression.

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar.
• Strong organizational skills and familiarity with civil litigation processes.
• Ability to work independently and interact professionally with legal staff, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience in collections law is preferred but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Tennessee Bar License (Required).

Skills:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in using legal technology tools and software.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume practice.
