This full-time position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative support to attorneys within the Environmental/Regulatory/Legislative Practice Group. This includes coordinating and scheduling travel, meetings, and appointments, managing documents and correspondence, and maintaining positive contact with attorneys and support staff. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and schedule travel, meetings, and appointments for attorney(s) - Manage hard copy and electronic documents - Communicate with clients in a professional manner - Maintain good communication with clients and observe confidentiality of attorney-client relationship - Prioritize and manage incoming workflow to meet deadlines - Perform other administrative and secretarial duties as requested Qualifications: - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Word and Outlook - Working knowledge of legal documents and formatting - Proficient experience with document management systems (iManage experience a plus) - Strong grammatical and writing skills - Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects - Able to work closely with attorneys in a fast-paced environment - Able to handle confidential information appropriately Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred - High school diploma or GED required - Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative law and contested case litigation - Experience with data rooms and discovery management - Prior law firm experience preferred Working Conditions: - Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise and temperature - Ability to work overtime and travel as needed - Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time - Ability to work with or without specific instructions Join our team at Jackson Walker and become a valuable member of our dynamic and growing law firm.
