The ideal candidate will have substantial experience defending employers in single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases, as well as ERISA litigation. This position requires occasional in-office presence for meetings, depositions, and court appearances. The successful candidate will have an excellent academic background, proven experience in employment litigation, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Duties:

• Defend employers in employment-related litigation, including single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases.
• Manage ERISA litigation and provide expert legal counsel on related employment matters.
• Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Develop and execute effective case strategies in collaboration with clients.
• Handle a diverse caseload efficiently, ensuring adherence to deadlines and court procedures.
• Remain informed about developments in labor and employment law and related regulations.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in employment litigation matters.
• Proven track record in defending employers in employment actions before agencies and courts.
• Strong academic background with a comprehensive understanding of labor and employment law.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
