Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking a skilled Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) / Off-Take Agreement Attorney specializing in Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and Off-Take Agreements. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel and negotiation services related to renewable energy projects.

Duties:

• Advise clients on the structuring, drafting, and negotiating of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Off-Take Agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to renewable energy regulations, contracts, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with clients, project developers, and other stakeholders to facilitate agreement terms that meet business objectives.
• Review and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and amendments.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive in.
• Experience specifically advising on and negotiating Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Off-Take Agreements in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
• Excellent academic credentials and a strong understanding of energy law and regulations, particularly in renewable energy sectors.

Certifications:

• Certification in Energy Law or related field (preferred).
