Job Title: Mid-Level Venture and Growth Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A prestigious law firm based in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Mid-Level Venture and Growth Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in commercial finance matters, particularly in lender-side representation. The ideal candidate will work closely with banks and private credit funds on loan transactions for technology, life sciences, and middle-market companies.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, attorneys, business professionals, and third parties.
• Handle calls, produce deliverables, and reply to correspondence efficiently.
• Meet deadlines while delivering high-quality, timely work.
• Build and maintain positive professional relationships within the firm and externally.
• Adhere to all company policies and practices.
• Engage in both sedentary and occasional physical activity, including computer work, virtual meetings, and conference calls.
• Manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in lender-side representation for commercial finance matters.
• Prior experience working with banks or private credit funds on loans to technology, life sciences, and middle-market companies.
• Strong business acumen and ability to manage both independent and collaborative work.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Delaware is required.

Certifications:

• Delaware Bar admission or eligibility for admission.
