Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support for life sciences transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate collaboration and license agreements, outsourcing agreements, and joint venture agreements.
  • Advise on and manage cross-industry technology and intellectual property transactions.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments for various transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop strategic legal solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
  • Assist in structuring complex deals and transactions to align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the firm in negotiations and communications with clients, stakeholders, and external counsel.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in technology and IP transactional law with a strong focus on life sciences.
  • Demonstrated experience handling mergers and acquisitions, collaboration and license agreements, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements.
  • Outstanding credentials and qualifications related to the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.

Education:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar in Utah is required.
