Responsibilities As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with our talented attorneys providing support before, during, and after trials. Your responsibilities will include requesting and reviewing medical records, setting statues of limitations, assisting with discovery and plaintiff fact sheets, coordinating and summarizing depositions, performing administrative duties, drafting discovery responses, and witness preparation. You may also be asked to complete other tasks as requested by the attorney. Qualifications To be considered for this position, you must have an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred), as well as 4+ years of litigation experience. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is also preferred. Experience in complex litigation, personal injury, workers compensation, premises liability, or other injury related practice areas is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as proficiency in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings. Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures is also required. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Extensive computer and database expertise, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of at least 35 wpm, is also necessary. The ability to work remotely and support your team is a must. Salary and Benefits The hourly range for this position is USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
