A law firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a talented Mid-to-Senior level Corporate Healthcare Transactional Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The role involves advising innovative healthcare clients on a variety of transactional matters, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, equity transactions, venture capital investments, and joint ventures. The ideal candidate will also handle corporate governance matters, contract negotiations, and other day-to-day corporate issues.

Job Duties:

  • Advise healthcare clients on complex transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, asset and equity acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Assist clients with corporate governance, organizational structuring, and operational strategy.
  • Conduct due diligence, draft transactional documents, and negotiate agreements.
  • Provide legal counsel on regulatory compliance issues related to healthcare transactions.
  • Collaborate with partners, clients, and third-party advisors to manage projects effectively.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work standards.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions and/or private equity, with a focus on healthcare transactions.
  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the state of California (active and in good standing).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent academic credentials demonstrating intellectual rigor and achievement.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
