Location:

  • Irvine, CA

Duties:

  • Handle cases related to asbestos, toxic tort, and product liability.
  • Manage and prioritize a caseload from discovery through trial.
  • Conduct written discovery, prepare and argue motions.
  • Attend depositions and court hearings.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial materials and strategy.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members for case management and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Must be admitted to the State Bar of California.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in asbestos, toxic tort, and/or product liability matters.
  • Experience with written discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court hearings.
  • Strong case management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to make in-person appearances as required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the State Bar of California (required).

Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience handling toxic tort and product liability matters is preferred.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
