The firm is looking for candidates who have a strong background in transactional law, particularly with syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance transactions. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base and to be involved in high-stakes legal matters that require innovative solutions.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on a variety of financial transactions, including syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance deals.
• Collaborate with clients to structure and negotiate complex agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transactional activities and to provide strategic advice to clients.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff in developing their legal skills and knowledge.
• Stay current on industry trends and changes in laws affecting financial services.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent.
• Admission to the North Carolina State Bar is preferred.
• 4-7 years of transactional experience in a law firm or corporate environment.
• Strong academic performance and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar in North Carolina is preferred.
