Job Overview: A law firm seeks a motivated Financial Services Litigation Associate to join its legal team in San Francisco, CA. Duties:

• Provide high-quality legal services to clients and senior attorneys, ensuring client needs are met.
• Conduct thorough legal and factual research and analysis for pleadings, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Draft pleadings, argue motions, and represent clients in court when necessary.
• Participate in discovery processes, including depositions and document review.
• Assist in developing litigation strategies and providing input to senior attorneys.
• Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and within established deadlines.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California and in good standing.
• Entry-level associate with demonstrated experience in legal research and writing.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California Bar, with an active license in good standing.

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Familiarity with federal and state court procedural rules.
• Ability to draft clear and effective legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new substantive legal topics.
