Job Overview: A prestigious law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in defending employers against a wide range of employment-related claims and providing comprehensive legal counsel. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with a background in employment law to grow within a respected firm while working on complex and challenging cases.

Duties:

  • Litigate and defend lawsuits involving various employment-related claims and agency charges.
  • Provide employers with legal advice, training, and counsel on labor and employment law matters.
  • Represent clients in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations on employment issues such as:
    • Class/collective actions
    • Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims
    • Wage and hour disputes
    • Employment contract disputes
    • Non-compete and employment tort cases
  • Handle cases involving complex class actions or Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) matters (experience preferred, but not required).

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in employment law, with a strong background in litigation.
  • Current admission to the California Bar, with good standing.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state agency procedures related to labor and employment law.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • An active member of the California Bar.
