A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Mid-level Real Estate Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in handling commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acquisitions, dispositions, development, and leasing for office, retail, and industrial properties. Experience with financing is a plus. The candidate must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and possess superior drafting skills, deep knowledge of commercial real estate law, and a strong work ethic. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, and leasing of office, retail, and industrial properties.
  • Draft and negotiate real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents.
  • Oversee and manage closings, title examinations, surveys, and other real estate due diligence projects.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of property titles, surveys, and other due diligence materials to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with clients, title companies, surveyors, and other parties involved in real estate transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on complex real estate issues and transactions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to strategize and execute real estate transactions effectively.
  • Stay updated on current developments in commercial real estate law and market trends.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, and leasing.
  • Financing experience is a plus.
  • Superior drafting skills and deep knowledge of commercial real estate law and closing mechanics.
  • Ability to handle closings, title examinations, surveys, and other due diligence projects.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required.
