A law firm seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its legal team in Ann Arbor, MI. Duties

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including preparing for and managing court calls, motions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Draft, review, and approve a variety of legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and post-judgment proceedings.
  • Engage in strategic case management, ensuring all legal matters are handled with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to provide thorough and effective representation.
  • Analyze case files, conduct legal research, and provide clear legal strategies to ensure favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Michigan.
  • Additional bar admissions in Kentucky, Indiana, or Ohio are a plus but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized and accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in Michigan.
